Au Purr Service Polices and Fee Schedule
After 30+ years in property mgmt. I started AuPurr due to my love of my own eight cats. I've worked directly with a local vet office, cat rescue and adoptions and am a member of Pet Sitters International. This was our 19 year old Rag Doll, Baby, who left us last year.
Committed to providing our feline clients a warm & safe
environment
while Mom or Dad are away.
Initial paperwork will be sent by Email for you to fill out and return to our office.. This includes your personal information (name, address, phone numbers, vet information, local contacts and information on how to reach you in the event of an emergency.) Additional forms will provide specific information regarding your pet(s) personality traits, medical background, feeding instructions and other information to make our visits to meet your requirements. Once a reservation has been received, our office will reply by Email your confirmation and total cost for all dates. Your sitter will then contact you directly to schedule your client meeting at a date/time convenient for everyone.
AuPurr sitters have all completed a full background check by providing personal references with people who have knowledge of the applicant's personal and/or professional workings with pets. All references are checked and a nationwide police background has been completed. We want you to feel comfortable knowing the people who represent AuPurr can be trusted in your home.

If you run our of food or litter during your stay, don't worry, we'll take care of that and bill you later. To administer any medications by mouth, trans-dermal or shot is Free (including insulin); Sub-Q fluids is $20 per service. If your cat is required to take insulin shots, we request updated information on current glucose levels or most recent testing information from your vet and your vet be advised that permission is given for us to contact them, if needed..
We greet your cat with a friendly good morning or evening, prepare their meals per your instructions and administer medication as required. We take time to refresh all water bowls and top off dry food bowls (if required) and clean litter to remove all debris, plus sweep around the boxes to keep the areas clean and odor free. Dirty litter is discarded daily.
After feeding we take time in using your feathers or other cat toys to play with each cat so they receive personal attention by brushing or petting. We bring our 5' long natural peacock feathers to gain their attention for playing and exercise.
Some cats are shy and aloof and do not desire any attention at all and run for the nearest couch or back bedroom. We understand and respect that cat's right to privacy yet will at least talk to the pet from a distance so they can start to recognize the sitters voice and become more calm each time we visit. We consider it an honor when your cat comes up to our sitter and ask for attention, feeling safe enough in its own home and environment. Chin scratches and tummy rubs are offered freely.
